1997 GMC K3500 SLT 4x4 cab and chassis with flat stake bed and the 6.5L turbo diesel. 12,000lb GVWR factory option. Power windows, locks, cruise, and keyless entry. Runs excellent, with new tires and over $2,000 in engine work done in January and February 2026. Receipts are available. Fuel system: upgraded dual fuel filter, lines, and lift pump system installed. All eight injectors were replaced with new Bosch units. Rebuilt Stanadyne DS4 injection pump with a new PMD from Flight Systems. New Delphi fuel injector return lines and a digital fuel pressure gauge was added along with a turbo boost gauge cluster. Turbo upgraded with a rebuilt Holset HX35W along with a KB Diesel upper intake and tube kit. Engine: New AC-Delco 60G glow plugs, new glow plug control relay, a new Timken front crank seal, and a Powerbond harmonic balancer and pulley. Fresh oil change with 7 quarts of 15W-40 and an AC-Delco filter. Drivetrain: both differentials drained and refilled with 80W-90; new rear cover & gasket. The 4L80E transmission fluid was fully exchanged with 8 quarts of Dexron III. High-idle switch installed. A/C and heat work. A great work truck for farm, landscaping, or hauling. This was a project truck so I could finish landscaping work on my property and I no longer need it.
