1993 Ford L8000 Crane Service Truck
Truck is in very good condition. I just built a brand new one and I do not need this one anymore. Very low miles, very clean interior. 167,822 original miles
Have clean title.
8.3L ppump cummins with 5 speed Eaton transmission two speed rear axle so 10 speed.
The mechanics bed is huge. You can haul a whole shop on this truck. It has plenty of shelving, nice carpet on the shelves, lights in the bed to store whatever you need, a large Wilton vice on the back, along with a 30 gallon diesel air compressor, and a retractable hose reel mounted in the box below the air compressor that can be ran off the truck air or the air compressor itself. Has fire extinguisher mount, traffic cone holder, 5 gallon water jug mount everything is tight on the truck. Fluids are good. Brakes are tight tires look good. Never had an issue with the truck. Bought it a couple years ago out of Pennsylvania drove it all the way home from above Philadelphia, it barely used 25 gallons of diesel fuel this truck is very fuel efficient.
Used the truck quite a bit for repair jobs and crane services such as putting rafters on buildings, including building my own shop setting AC units on buildings for contractors. This is a Swiss Army knife truck can pretty much do anything with it along with tow trailers has a heavy duty receiver hitch on the back.
The Terex Commander Crane 50 foot of reach and 24,600 pound lifting capacity. No leaks on the crane or outriggers. The outriggers are extremely strong. They will pick the whole truck up off the ground. Everything is tight. The previous owner told me he rebuilt the swing drive box and several other things prior to me buying it. That was about three years ago, one of the cleanest old Ford trucks I’ve had and seen.
