This boom has an incredible 70' reach and an additional 23.6' reach with the jib. Very capable truck with a lot of different uses. This truck is ready to work, mechanically sound and has been checked over/serviced by our shop. The Cummins 6.7L turbo diesel starts right up with no issues, sounds great with excellent power. The 6 speed syncro manual transmission shifts through all gears nicely. The Manitex 1970C hydraulic crane operates as it should via standing manual control stations. The truck is equipped with a swing around jib that is easily installed. It has (4) full power hydraulic outriggers installed that function as they should. It has a 20' flatbed with a wood deck that is in great condition - some wear present on the deck. This is a very large capacity crane that is in 100% working condition with no issues or leaks present. This truck is clean, very presentable and the condition is on par for the low mileage. The frame and underside is clean with no major rust present. The exterior of the truck is in overall good condition with minor damages and flaws to be expected. The interior is clean with only light wear showing, no major rips or tears in the seats. This truck appears to have been lightly used and well taken care of. Every single truck that we retail goes through a set of steps and quality checkpoints to ensure what we are selling is something we can stand behind. When a truck comes in it gets checked over thoroughly by our inspector and he notes any/all deficiencies. The list he goes down is derived from a DOT inspection (which we have added onto over the years as the DOT doesn't cover everything). The inspector will then take the truck on a 15-20 minute test drive to note any deficiencies found in a test drive (as if they were the customer). From there he writes all notes and areas of concern down and it then goes into our mechanical shop. Our mechanical shop spends as much time as they need to make the correct and necessary repairs to the truck. This can take days, weeks, or even months depending on parts availability. We try to use all OEM factory parts, unless it is not available to do so. Our average repair bill in our shop ranges from $4,000 and have been as high as $25,000+.
