For sale is the 1973 International Scout II 4WD Pickup Truck with Camper Shell on bed. 4WD 304 IH V8 Gas Engine Auto Transmission with dealer installed factory camper. Has 96,369 miles. Runs and operates good. See video. This truck comes with a clear title. A Full Service has been done by our Service Dept. including an engine oil change and all new filters: engine, air and fuel filters. All points were greased, and then a final inspection was done. For being 53 years old, this truck is in mint condition. It has gone through our Service Department and has extremely minimal rust (rust being the about the size of a U.S. dime). The interior is in near-perfect condition with minimal wear. The only thing that doesn’t work is the fuel gauge, but the original AM radio still functions. Both the driver and passenger seats have seat covers to protect the original upholstery underneath, and we are keeping the covers on for continued protection. When we purchased the truck, the engine was seized from sitting unused. We installed a used short block from a truck of the same era, which has been inspected by our Service Department. Many new engine parts were installed (see video for details). The entire braking system was replaced, and a new radiator was installed. The truck now has new 30x9.5x15 Yokohama MTS tires on 15x8 retro spoke wheels with chrome caps and lug nuts. There are many more updates—please refer to the video for the full list. During our research on this Scout, we determined that it is likely 1 of only 744 dealer-installed, factory off-road pop-up campers. The camper appears to be in great shape with minimal damage.
