This 2026 Western Star 49X is loaded.. with raw power and safety as its main focus. Detroit provides the main powerplant with a 505HP DD15, pushing 1750 ft lbs of torque to a 12 speed DT12 automated transmission. this Transmission is equipped to handle any terrain you can put it on with Creep mode for low speeds and Overdrive for easily achieving highway speeds while maintaining lower engine RPM's and increased fuel economy. The Meritor RT-46's with a 3.58 ratio wrap up the power train. Chassis was built with a 20K rated Hendrickson Steerable lift axle with 315 Michelin XZU's. The custom Pik Rite steel body was built for the long haul. High lift air operated tail gate and a camera mounted in the body! All switching is done on the dash with Factory installed switches!
